I was wondering when someone was going to pick this up! Nice isn't it? You can do things like that when your Diocese isn't BANKRUPT...like OURS is in San Diego. It's really too bad is doesn't have an altar attached to it, but it's a start. It goes a LONG way as well, towards dignifying the really bland and barnlike new bascilica of the late 1930's. But remember, this is the diocese of Todd Brown, and you won't be allowed to kneel before it. That would be the sheer humilitation of a human being, an act unfit for man nor Beast. But you're right, there's a discernable trend going on.
