I have celebrated Holy Mass ad orientem one time at St Charles Borromeo. It was the day after Corpus Christi, and the altar was decorated for that feast. When I began the Mass I explained this. Even though it was a one-time event, some people were not please with me. I prefer the Novus Ordo ad orientem. This lessens the "dialogue" between me and the assembly. I prefer dialogue between us and God!
Over the course of my few years at St Charles I have had people receive the Sacred Host kneeling. I am struck by the reverence, and wished others would do the same. This gesture slows us down and allows us to focus on the One we are receiving.
Ummm...Novus Ordo ad orientem, and people kneeling for Communion...I truly believe this is what Vatican II foresaw, rather than the way "Spirit of V2" liturgists have hijacked the Most Holy Sacrament.

I like the typeface you used for the first letters of Sancta Missa.
