Thank you brothers

Many thanks to my brother priests who assisted me in hearing confessions last evening. I appreciate your kindness and fellowship. My parishioners too are grateful for your generosity of time during this busy season. Blessings to you always!

Do you have the custom of playing host to your brother priests when they come over to your parish to hear confessions?

Our custom in this vicariate is to treat the visiting priests to a nice dinner. Sometimes the staff cooks and other times Father takes them to a local restaurant. I think its a very nice custom and certainly gives you clerics a good opportunity to have fellowship with each other.

Yes. I give them each a canned ham and a bottle of sparkling apple juice. Mmmm.

I hope it wasn't Chinese food "to go,"
young fella! What I really want to know is: does Oreo eat Chinese?

Sit down dinner at PF Chang's ... the absolute best in town!

Oreo loves Chinese cookies, though he leaves the "fortune" behind.

Oreo leaves the "fortune" behind because he knows that he could not be any more fortunate in having an owner like you, you young whipper snapper.

Yes, the dog knows that we make our own good fortune. He or she must be a very, very smart dog.
