I cannot imagine that anyone would ever persecute you. You are very likeable in your blog. You also come across as being gutsy and honest -- good qualities for someone in the priesthood .... You might want to consider the fact that it can be a little unnerving to have more eyes than usual upon you and your work,if that is what has happened with your blog and the Pope's announcement about the Latin Mass.
I'll say one for you just on general principles.
I always pray for people who do something against me. Sometimes I have someone else pray for them as well, although I do not say it is because of their wretched act(s). Generally speaking, I think that people who act like an enemy do so because of a lacking of something in themselves. ..... Knowing that, however, does not make their actions any easier to take. ...... And, with that in mind, I am off to pray for the dweebs who invited me -- but never took me -- to dinner because I raised alot of money for a particular charity. Although I was embarrassed at the thought of anyone feeling obligated to take me (and spouse) to dinner,I bought a new dress. I was ready. Then whammo -- they did not take me. Instead they took one of the fellows and his spouse who had helped me with the project. Ouch! I know that there is a scipture that fits perfectly with this sad tale. (Sometimes people do not intend to cause hurt, but do so simply because they are busy, have forgotten what they said, or make assumptions that change the course of their actions.)
